Best Hair in the NFL 2020

We've seen a new trend in the NFL with a number of players sporting longer hair. As a male, you have to get through the "akward phase" but there is a great payoff once you do and are able to take care of your hair. There are also some really good classic hairstyles to appreciate as well. Lets kick of the list of a guy I met on draft weekend when it was in Chicago, except I mistook him for a rookie and he wasn't too happy with me about that when I asked him in one of the local nightclubs that night. But hey, he's a Packer.

10. David Bakhiarti

Bakhiarti was a late round pick in 2013 but by 2016 he made the Pro Bowl and between 2016-2019 made the pro bowl 3 times while going All Pro in 2018. He's easily one of the best Left Tackles in the NFL despite having a lighter frame compared to other All Pro left tackles we've seen in the past. He has a very good combination of strength and agility which make him a great matchup against the lighter defensive pass rushers that utilize their speed and agility. He has very long hair with an undercut, similar to what you'd see on a professional wrestler. It's a very masculine way to grow out hair.

9. Saquon Barkley

A high draft pick in 2018, he had a stellar rookie season breaking franchise records of the New York Giants. A great combination if speed, size, and motor. The last two seasons have been plagued by injuries which is halting his progression as a pro. He made the pro bowl and won rookie of the year in the same year which is a feat only a few have ever done. If he can stay healthy he's destined to be a hall of famer and one of the all time greats. He sports a high fade with a short razor part give him a unique flair to an other wise common haircut.

8. George Kittle

Kittle did not have an impressive college career or combine, however it was enough for the 49ers to see his talent and drafted him in the 5th round. His first year in the league he wasn't utilized in the offense that much but definitely made an impact at times. He has made the pro bowl in 2018 and 2019 and was an all pro in 2019. In his third year, he has an impressive resume and is on track to be one of the best tight ends ever if he can stay healthy. He appears to be growing out his hair while getting an undercut to keep the area around the ears clean.

7. Jamal Adams

Jamal Adams was a high draft pick and plays the safety position. He's listed at 214 lbs which isn't big for a linebacker, but he will often drop down from the safety position into the linebacker position to help with run support or rush the passer making him one of the most versatile defensive players in the NFL currently. He recently demanded a trade and found his way to the Seahawks which are a much better organization than the New York Jets. Surprisingly he did not make the pro bowl his rookie year, but did so the last 2 seasons. He sports a mid-bald fade while keeping his curls on top in a somewhat natural state.

6. Justin Herbert

Nobody quite knows if he was suppose to play as early as he did. During the pregame Tyrod Taylor had his lung punctured by the team doctor, and Herbert was forced into the game. He made a great first impression taking the Kansas City Chiefs down to the wire and has had a successful rookie season thus far. Mentioned earlier about the "akward phase" he seems to live in that phase but is able to style and texturize his hair to make it look good. He's working with a good flow and is taking advantage of having long thick hair.

5. Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray is a dynamic dual-threat quarterback and is one of the most dangerous players in the NFL while only in his second year. Deadly speed and agility has made many defenders look silly, while still having accurate deep ball accuracy. It's likely he makes the pro bowl in his second year as he's been one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL this year. He has a high bald fade while keeping his natural curls on top. They slightly hang over the bald fade.

4. Patrick Mahomes

In his fourth year, Patrick Mahomes might be the best quarterback to ever play football. He's won a Super Bowl, won the Super Bowl MVP, and his been named to the pro bowl every year he's started a full season. He's got a rocket arm, deadly accuracy, mobile, and makes great decisions. Shockingly, he was the third QB taken during his draft despite throwing for 600 yards in a college football game.

His hairstyle is a wide mohawk with a bald fade on the sides. But instead of the fade going all around the back of the head, it stops towards the back of the neck. His natural volume and curls allow the hair to stand up on its own giving a dynamic look to his mohawk.

3. Gardner Minshew

Nobody expected Gardner Minshew to be as good as he is. He was drafted in the 6th round to be a backup to Nick Foles. When Nick Foles got injured, Minshew had to step in as a rookie. As a quarterback he has a losing record, but he has a passer rating above 90 and a 3:1 TD to interception ratio. He's mobile, accurate, and has a decent arm. Not quite a pro bowl talent yet, but plays winning football just doesn't have the best pieces surrounding him to get wins. He seems to have a bright future as a quarterback and there are a few teams in addition to the Jaguars that could use him. He usually wears a headband to lock in the sides and lets his hair grow out on top.

2. Deandre Hopkins

Deandre Hopkins is one of the best WR in the NFL. Better than average speed and agility with some of the best hands. After getting traded to the Cardinals and being paired with Kyler Murray, he's having one of the best years of his career. Both players feed off of one another and are allowing each other to excel. Even though Hopkins was drafted in 2013, he wasn't the #1 receiver for a couple years as Andre Johnson was still on the team. The first year he was the #1 he made the pro bowl in 2015. Since then, he's been an all pro in consecutive years from 2017-2019 and will probably make it in 2020. The sides are nearly bald, but he has this huge contrast with really long and thick dreadlocks. He does a lot of different things with his hair. He's coiled it up like a snake before, or created very irregular shapes with some parts sticking out while other parts are up. This style allows for endless creativity.

1. Travis Kelce

When healthy Travis Kelce is a nightmare at the Tight End position. He's got great size, speed, and hands which is tough on both Linebackers and Safeties. He's had multiple 1,000 yard receiving careers as a Tight End and is more than a security blanket for Patrick Mahomes. He's been named to multiple pro bowls and the NFL all decade team for 2010-2020. Easily a first ballot hall of famer. He's also got the best hair in the NFL. Keeps it flowy and wavy on top, with a mid bald faded undercut. His barber cuts many professional athletes hair @patty_cuts on Instagram.
